If you know me, I'm a MASSIVE Godzilla/Kaiju fan. Recently, the Japanese company Bandai have released a new line of figures of classic Kaiju-related Monsters. In the photo above, I have picked up Megalon (Kaiju) and Jet Jaguar (Heroic Robot). I also have a US import of Jet Jaguar (in the background) from Playmates. These come from the film, Godzilla vs Megalon (1973) from Toho. Also, if you see below, I have also picked up SEASON 1 - 7 of the TV Show, THE WALKING DEAD. Also, Season 11 (Final Season) can be seen on AMC+ & Disney+ online. Thanks for checking out my new item(s) and goodies.

Day of Silence is a pandemic style Thriller where two friends have witnessed the end of civilization. Friends and family seem to have gone missing and the rise of Cult like reigns have begun.
A working concept by John H Shelton & Anthony Leigh Dawe. Features a Voice-Over by Ann Massey of Dark Emerald Media (also of Spooky Isles website). In life, you must stay hydrated.
I buy a bottle every day from the shop. It gives you something to do. Staying hydrated is something you should do every day. Drinking water makes you feel a bit more clear headed. My Dad's sister/my Aunt, wrote a book about twenty years ago. It was about the loss of her son. It's a deep, heavy book, but it can be found on Amazon. It's now, OOP aka Out-of-Print, but is worth a look.
It follows her journey across seas to the East, from the UK to seek and refuge her grandchildren to a safe-guard. To order or to even have a look, click the below cover image from the book. It's a true story tale. My Auntie was even featured in a TV Documentary around the same time too as she was also seeking to find justice for her own son, who had his life taken away from him, leaving Children behind in the midst: During the Spring of 2020, the first ever Lockdown happened. With places like Leisure Centres and the Economy shutting their doors, a local nature reserve became like a second home during the heatwave of a long summer. There, I started doing my Litter-Picking, seeing Swans and other animals on the pond and taking a long walk throughout the long months. It wasn't just myself, people would flock there to escape their homes and routine to get into nature and the woodlands surrounding the area. The plus side is that all this was local to myself and I spent a bit of time walking on trails and looking around. I even took my camera and took a few photographs and wrote the below poem, read by an actress named Andrea Rose: "The Grove" Read by Andrea Rose
Written by John H Shelton The grove is a place we all must care for It's a place we have gone to visit A place where many memories come to life And it's beautiful nature in it The grove is our home The grove is our place The grove is our Mental Health And a place with no haste As we visit it, we find ourselves We love the place around us And always lose ourselves To the nature of good Never bad A place of sanctuary And a place of Glad The grove is our home The grove is our place The grove is our Mental Health And a place with no haste So, please let's take care of it And not let it go to waste The farmer's path The horses, the trees, the wind The cygnet swans are so dear And so are the fears Of nature in it's delicate balance A place for generations So, look after it now So our children can make a difference! Poem is the work of John H. Shelton, December 2020. Steven Chamberlain is my youngest Brother. He became a part of the Shelton family in 1989. Sadly, he'd lost both parents in a Motorbike Accident. Now, this struck a chord in the family. As sad as it was, Steven Chamberlain grew up to be in the Army and get based in Germany in the mid-00's. Growing up, Steven and myself had many up's and down's. Fighting over toys, family attention and we were just fighting with ourselves. Steven is a good brother and I'm proud of how far he's come. We all have up and down faults, but I hope he has found the peace within himself to find stability. Peace be with you, brother, Steven. In think that the best and worst of us go through things in life we can't always control. That is perfectly normal and I appreciate the memories and friends over the years. I am an avid Godzilla and Film Collector. I have decent health (Touch Wood) and have met and done some inspiring things and people over the years. However, those are the ones you need to keep close and safe!
In the Summer of 2007, my Mental Health and stress levels started to isolate me into a corner. Years of neglect to put myself first or even secure a proper career or even a long-running job had took it's toll. I'm not saying that it was the be-all and the end-all, but loneliness and not understanding my own needs and self-care was lacking. Broken relationships with friends and partners affected me badly to the point of almost giving up. I ended up at the local GP Office to see a doctor or two, who put me on Intrusive Thought Medication until the Pandemic of 2020 hit... and it hit hard. Mental Health does matter and I could never understand why? It's when you get lowered into a pit and you realise that this isn't where you want to be. Not for yourself or even loved ones like my parents. My attitude was giving mixed signs and in late 2020, I ended up in a Mental Health Ward the other-side of Nottinghamshire. It was a scary time and medication and a long rest in order. I'd come away from my original medication, so let this be a lesson and I ended up in Hospital for Five-Long-Weeks wondering where my life was going. Either way, stay strong & positive, even if you are feeling inside of yourself. I first entered a College in 1996 doing a Media Course. It had me doing a bit of Photography, too. There, I met a long-time friend in Anthony Leigh Dawe. He was so cool, he did Martial Arts & Combat. Eventually, we both went onto a Drama Course and did a Martial Arts Showcase (see below).
Sadly, due to my heart not being into the course, I dropped off, but stayed in touch with Mr Dawe through-out and the recent years. It was a tough course, but I do try to take away the positives more these days. I ended up studying music on smaller, less-demanding courses. Welcome... My name is John H Shelton from Nottingham, England. In the past I have done some Media in College and GCSEs. Also, I have done small courses in Drama & Music. Through-out the years, I have met many people and artists, but have enjoyed the experiences for what they are.

Last year was a tough year for many. Plenty of folk's Mental Health might have been tested. It's knowing how to use Mindfulness & Positive Actions to get through the day, or even the weeks and months ahead. Stay Safe... Stay Positive! |
